The Grizzly Gold Pan was scientifically designed. No matter how carefully you pan with a round pan you are probably losing gold. The Grizzly lets you pan fast and thoroughly. This pan was developed over a five year period by Doc Ashcraft. Doc specifically designed the Grizzly to pan gold faster and safer than a round pan. Doc succeeded so well that the grizzly not only out pans round pans but some sluices and rockers as well. It actually picked up nearly as much gold as a rotary pan. The amazing thing is that the grizzly picked up the gold from the rotary pans tailings that it had missed. Panning with a round pan is like trying to carry water in a bucket with a hole in it.
