"The biggest little mining shop in the West!" Rows one and two were taken at Pioneer Mining Supplies, Auburn, CA. Frank Sullivan, "Okie," and friends are in the upper left photo. Frank has been serving prospectors since 1962; a true icon in the California mining industry. The Auburn store is celebrating its 20th anniversary. Rows one and two Pioneer-Motherlode in Auburn. Rows two and three were taken at the 1999 Gold Fair in Grass Valley, California. Row four is dusk at Ft. Sullivan near Auburn, CA, Tyler panning at Downieville in 2000, and Mineral Bar and the old Iowa Hill Bridge near Colfax, CA in 1980. More photos to come! Check back again.
